Exploring stakeholders
Stakeholders are individuals or teams with an interest in your enterprise architecture outcomes. Use stakeholders to identify who influences and is affected by your architectural decisions.
Stakeholders can be internal or external to your organization. They influence architectural decisions and are affected by the outcomes of your enterprise architecture initiatives.
You can:
- Create and edit stakeholders.
- Associate stakeholders with departments and groups.
- Rate stakeholder influence and interest levels.
- Associate stakeholders with related drivers, goals, value streams, and business processes.
When you model a stakeholder in a diagram, the following default relationships are available:
- With drivers: Influenced by::Influences
- With goals: Has goal::Goal of
- With value streams or business processes: Interested in::Of interest to
