Associate healthcare locations with healthcare organizations.

About this task

In scenarios where a healthcare location is being utilized by multiple healthcare organizations, you can associate those organizations with a location.

You can also associate multiple healthcare organizations with a healthcare location, or vice versa.

For example, a single ICU room in a hospital might be used by multiple departments, such as cardiology and neurology. You would associate those departments (Healthcare organizations) with the ICU room (a Healthcare location) using the steps that follow.

Before you begin

Role required: admin

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > HCLS Service Management > Organization data > Healthcare organizations.
2. Select the Healthcare organization you want to associate with a healthcare location.
3. Navigate to the Healthcare locations related list.
4. Click Edit.
5. In the Collection panel, select the Healthcare locations you want added to this Healthcare organization and use the right arrow to move them into the Healthcare locations List for this organization.
   Note:

   To remove a location from an organization, simply use the left arrow to move the location from the Healthcare locations List into the Collection list.
6. Click Save.
