Using a Pop-up notification on top of the UI.

Dear community,

 

ServiceNow uses a popup notification displayed on top of the User Interface just after you log in. We are clearly talking about the backend interface here and not the portal. (see screenshot)

 

In what way can we as administrators or Platform owners also use this to communicate certain important messages to users.

I believe the UX Banner Announcements module will address your requirements.

Not sure if I fully understand your point. Do you want to display this message to users on the portal or in the native view?

Since this is a new feature introduced by ServiceNow in Yokohama, if you want to show it on the portal, you can create a banner announcement for this.

Hi,

 

It is definitely for using it on the native view, not the portal. For the latter I know the functionality of the annoucements.

 

The message should appear immediately after logging in exactly as we see in the example of the MFA message coming with Yokohama.
