Why asset form record is showing blank when i click new button from related list

Hi All,

I created a related list on project table and it queries data from Asset table ( alm_asset)

issue is when i click the new button , asset form is showing as blank page

but when i open alm_asset.list , and click on NEW button then the form is showing as expected

why this behaviour is occuring ??
