Is there a way to connect powerbi.com to a service now instance?
We host our reports in powerBI.com and would like to have additional reports that draw data from our service-now instance.

Hi @pneuvil1 ,
Yes we do have an option to connect the Power BI to ServiceNow instance.
We are using the Web URL option to do so.
In ServiceNow you can create an integration user with roles and use the credentials in Power BI to access the ServiceNow API URL.
In the PowerBI >> File >> Get Data > Web path you can paste the ServiceNow API URL, use the credentials to login and you will be able to see the data there.
This is a simple way to integrate.
You can also use an export set option to place data in a server where the PowerBI team can pick on a scheduled basis.

Thanks,
Mahathi

Ok No problem @pneuvil1 .
It is very specific to limited data as we are live with it and i have no problems with performance as the data is less.
I have another suggestion, there is an option called export set in ServiceNow, you can place data from an incident table or any other table for that matter.
This will be placed in a folder in the mid server and the Power BI team can pull the data from there once shared. I have this working as well for a different requirement.
Just thought of adding it.
If my answer helped in any way, please mark it as ✅Correct & 👍Helpful
Thanks,
