The best way to begin is by enrolling in Now Learning courses, which provide structured learning paths for all skill levels.
As a first step, you should set up your Personal Developer Instance (PDI) to get hands-on experience. You can request a PDI through the official ServiceNow Developer Site: Home | ServiceNow Developers
Guide: Guides | ServiceNow Developers To understand more about "PDI"
Go through following:
1. Now Learning: ServiceNow University | ServiceNow"
2. Product Documentation: Product Documentation | ServiceNow
3. YouTube channels: https://youtu.be/PmA7Iter2uU?si=3R8zVr6lWyCeZe3p
4. ServiceNow Community: https://www.servicenow.com/community/
Once you’ve gained foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with a PDI, you can pursue the CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification. It validates your understanding of the platform's core functionalities and administration
Beyond CSA, ServiceNow offers multiple certification tracks (like CAD, CIS-ITSM, CSM, HRSD, and more) to deepen your expertise based on your role and career goals.
If my response solves your query, please marked helpful by selecting Accept as Solution and Helpful. Let me know if anything else is required.
Thanks,

Hi @AnilK8626541963,
You should start with Admin path on Now Learning -> ServiceNow System Administrator - ServiceNow University
and after completing this path you'll eligible for CSA exam and don't forget to read the E-book that helps a lot.
and there are some YouTube Series as well for better understanding, links are-:
Admin + Developer -> https://youtu.be/7pC5A9MWIJY?si=mBniHVDgzxBA-hQ2
https://youtu.be/a11fQJgbdYw?si=RXJiwQG-dLGQysQN
These videos are on older versions of Service now Instance, I always recommend you Please go through the official documentation by service now -> Product Documentation | ServiceNow.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope this is helpful to you, if you still have any query Please ask
Please Mark my response Helpful and accept as solution
Thanks & Regards
Mayank

Hello @AnilK8626541963
You can begin by taking foundational courses from ServiceNow University:
These courses provide a solid overview of the platform and are great for beginners.
Sign up for a free Personal Developer Instance (PDI) to get hands-on experience:
For scripting learn about the different ServiceNow APIs:
Client-side APIs (for UI interactions)
Server-side APIs (for backend processing)
There are many you tube channels available having good content.
- https://www.youtube.com/@LearnNGrowTogetherwithAtulG
- https://www.youtube.com/@learnservicenowwithravi
These channels offer tutorials, real-world examples, and tips that are especially helpful as you're starting out.
Good luck on your ServiceNow journey!
Hope this helps!
