Can't able to search cmdb ci in global search

Whenever I try to search configuration Items with asset tag or model number fields in global search. showing no results.
What I have checked so far:
1)Reviewed search source but did not find attribute level configuration.
2)checked AI search profiles
My requirement:
1)Enable global search to return cmdb ci records using fields like asset tag, model number.
Could anyone please help with:
- How to configure CMDB in Global / AI Search?
- Where to define searchable fields (like asset_tag)?
- Any indexing or search profile configuration required?
