CI and Asset lifecycle Management

Hello , 

We have CMDB with discovery enabled, it is creating the record in CMDB when it is discovered with status as Installed.We want to create the CI which are in-stock and updated as installed when discovered  via discovery. 

SImilarly Asset-ci synchronization need to be enabled.

Are you referring to the Hardware Status or Install Status?

Is this your requirement - When the CI created first time by any Data Source then it should be in In-Stock and when it is updated by Discovery then it should be in Installed? Correct?

Yes, the requirement is CI lifecycle need to be followed from Instock-retired.

So when the CI is  first time created manually or via discovery then it should be in stock and then updated by discovery as in use when come in use (assigned to some user)
