Currently Linux thin clients using Ubuntu are getting classified as 'Linux Server' i want them to classify as 'thin client' that is 'u_cmdb_ci_thin_client' table.
my classification criteria is
- name = Linux
- Output fqdn STARTS WITH "C"
- Output Operation System = Linux Ubuntu
How can i do it?

Hi @supareub ,
in that case, you need to create a Classifier to update those record in thin client custom table.
you can find these under Discovery Definition> CI Classification> Processes (shown below)
you can use the below reference document for that.

Hey Ajay,
i tried but here is no thin client table in table dropdown, i read somewhere that we can create classifier in discovery_classy_unix table but i was not sure how to create 'on classification script' for my classification criteria which i mentioned in question.

Hi @supareub ,
Can you please confirm, what is the parent table of u_cmdb_ci_thin_client table, It must be under the computer table only, Also you have to find out the correct Classification criteria, as well as you need to create the new CI classification, Refer the mentioned docs for that.
