As a part of my remediation, I select a main Ci and retire the duplicate CIs. But when I run the correctness job again, another task gets created with the same CIs.
I don't have an option of deleting the CI as a part of remediation since I will need the data that the duplicate CI contains. So retiring the CI is the only option. But how do I make sure that the task does not come back ?

Did you check whether it is due to the duplicates getting created again? Then you need to review the identification rules of that class first and check how you need to modify it to prevent the creation of duplicates as much as possible

No. Its a carbon copy of the previous task and the reason (eg. Same Serial Number) is the same. Only when I close the second task without remediating (Since its already remediated) does the task not come back.
