Discovery Update Issue

1.Ran the quick discovery for IP 10.20.172.4.
2. r3-srpbm-co17-01-swx-01 - The discovery is updating the latest record which do not have any serial number. Ideally the discovery must check the host name, serial number and then update.
3. When any suffix is added to the existing record, after running a quick discovery, it is creating a new duplicate record with blank serial number.

Hi,

You need to check that your Identification rules for the CI class meet your requirements. If not correctly configured IRE will not be able to identify the unique CI to update.
