Is IntegrationHub ETL licensed with IntegrationHub or is it separate?

We want to use IH-ETL to import CMDB data.

Does anyone know if IntegrationHub ETL is licensed as part of IntegrationHub or is it part of the core platform which can be used without charges?

Thanks!

Despite the name, IH-ETL is not part of the IntegrationHub subscriptions.  It is a separate free application that you can (and should!) use for all of your CMDB integrations.

You said, that IH-ETL is something that we "should" use for our CMDB integrations. Does that depend on the number of integrations we have?...or specific kinds of integrations?... We haven't deployed it yet in our organization, so just trying to get a sense of what you've experienced are some of it's benefits (and/or pitfalls, if any)?

Thank you.

The number of integrations you can have under your license is determined elsewhere.

The ETL is a go-to solution when it comes to data mapping and transformation. You can map the raw data that comes from the integrations to specific fields in the ServiceNow CMDB. You can also do transformations of the data, leverage the foundation data in your CMDB, etc. For instance you can get the User assigned to a specific Computer in Intune and use this information to populate the Department, Location or other information of the Computer CI, that is related to the User record in your Foundation data in ServiceNow.
