Is there any way to populate Asset tag information in CMDB.

Can we discover Asset Tag in CMDB? Is there any way to populate Asset tag information. We are using ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC) for discovery in Client network.

Asset tag is logical component, which can not be discovery if customer is not using any automated way to update the Asset tag and is differ client to client many times,

but if customer is managing asset tag in third party tool, you can pull and populate the information.

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for the response. In the current scenario, customer is not using any third-party tool to fetch the asset tag. They are manually updating the Asset tag. 

However, the Asset tag information is populating as a part of Display Name/Description. Is there any way we can fetch the value for "Asset Tag" field from the first word of "Name/Description" field?
