Regarding CMDB and Discovery project

Hey Team,

I have a question for project building from scratch using Discovery and CMDB Managment. Could you please help me for providing any informative link or details below to my question including steps?

I am not stick with only discovery if you can also use Import or service Mapping option as well. If some one knows exactly steps how to build it, please share with me.

you need to follow the below

1. Try to understand the as is process of customer

2. Analysis of Datacenter and Classes to discover

3. Workshop to be schedule with customer to showcase the capability of CMDB and Discovery and requirement gathering session.

4. Data Model to be discussed with Customer for CMDB

5. Mid Server setup

6. Credentials and Firewall policy to be enable

7.Schedule Discovery and configure the IRE rules

8. Import is something to Import data from Excel or different datasource

9. ServiceMapping you need to build once CMDB and Discovery is setup, that is different from Discovery.
