Retrieve Merged CI data in ServiceNow CMDB

Hi Team,

I have merged two CIs and the relationship data didn't get copied to the primary CI from merged CI. Is there a way we can retrieve that merged CI to get the lost relationship data?

Hi @Uttam Sai , 

 

I don't think it is possible to get the lost relationship data while performing the data merge from duplicate ci to primary ci. Please find the screenshot from the de-duplication engine. It says Orphan and duplicate relationships will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.

Hi @Uttam Sai 

 

If Ci and Relations got removed you can navigate to Deleted records or go the duplicate task where you can see activities about your remediation open the deleted CI link from the activities and click on undelete button. If you I delete the main CI you will get relationships as well.
