Hello Everyone,
I want to exclude retired CIs from the Dependency view and Related Items formatter.
The issue is when I set Predefined Filter for Dependency view, then Related Items (ngbsm_related_item) are not shown. I don't see e.g. parent relationship between Service Offering and Business Service.
Also, it would be nice to hide retired CIs from the form layout (Related Items).
Any idea how to do it?

Hi Pavel,
Filtering retired CIs isn't supported in Dependency View (or Service Mapping UI16 experience).
Filtering CIs based on their Life Cycle Stage field value was introduced in Unified Map in the February 2024 store release of CMDB Workspace. CIs with their Life Cycle Stage set to Operational (or have no value) can be searched for and displayed in Unified Map in CMDB Workspace.
A CMDB Administrator can configure which Life Cycle Stage values will allow a CI to be displayed in Unified Map for a particular workspace. Read more about how to configure this in the Product Documentation.
Note: legacy status fields (e.g. operational_status, hardware_status, etc) that may be used for managing the retirement of CIs are not supported in Unified Map. Due to the difficulty in supporting a myriad of status-type fields used across various CI classes, the CSDM Life Cycle Stage field is used in Unified Map for filtering CIs. This filtering approach will be extended to other areas of CMDB Workspace in the future.

Hello @Tony Branton,
Thank you for providing information with the link to the documentation. I have tested that on my PDI where the is Vancouver release, installed SAM Pro, and APM Pro, and also updated CMDB Workspace to version 4.0.2, but still, I do not have the mentioned table (from documentation) "sn_cmdb_ws_operational_lifecycle_for_unified_map" installed on my instance.
I tried to set CI to be Retired, but it is still visible in the Unified map.
It doesn't work for Service Offerings and Business Applications it doesn't work too.
Do you know if I have to have a specific plugin installed?

Hi @Tony Branton,
I have checked that also on the company vendor instance. It is working there. Retired CIs are hidden. On my PDI is CMDB Workspace in version 4.0.2 but on the vendor instance is 5.1.0
Thank you for your help.
Pavel
