I have merged two windows servers as described, delete the duplicate but still getting this  answer :

VERIFICATION:

From the CMDB Group Health Dashboard:

- From the Duplicate metric, verify only 7 of 145 records display as duplicates
I could se as 7/145

- From the Group View - Duplicate CIs report, verify it displays 6 Solaris Servers and 1 AIX Server

i could that also.

But task still not gets validated.

Faced Same issue today. I have retrieved the deleted record from Audit deleted records and set the de- duplication task state to open and retried and was able to complete the task.
