I have a curious question . Is it normal that VMs (I assume the guest VMs) are being classified as "computers" even though they are really a server? Or I am wrong to assume that all VMs are servers? Is it possible that there is a desktop VM and not all VMs are server class?
I was reviewing our CMDB and noticed that there are a bunch of VM CIs which are showing with Windows 10 as Operating System and classified as Computer. I don't know if that should be considered as "Windows Server" already

Hi,
CIs are classified based on the operating system. If the VM is running Windows 10 then it is considered as Desktop. For Server Class, it should run Windows Server Operating System. If you want to change this behavior, then you may need to change the discovery pattern which is not advisable
