Hello I just upgrade to Service Graph Connector SCCM. For some reason when I put checkmark on 'use last run datetime' for SG-SCCM Last Discovered Update it prompts me for 'SG-SCCM Last Discovered Update'? I cannot use this unless I manually put in a date.
According to SN support....
"Last run database field " you can choose the datetime field which you want to consider for last run datetime. It's up to you to decide which datetime field you want to choose based on your business need. Servicenow support cannot suggest in this case."
What would you suggest as a best practice or most commonly used for 'SG-SCCM Last Discovered Update date and why? Thanks kindly
Donna

OOTB should be blank, so uncheck the option. I believe we answer your questions here.

Hello and thanks so much. It's the SG-SCCM last discovered Update. I see you have Timestamp whereas after my upgrade the default was blank. So wanted to understand the logic to this function before deciding what to manually add to "Last run database field. Is the norm to add timestamp? What does the do?

To add to what Patrick has suggested and for your 'why' question, SCCM will update the 'TimeKey' field if any of the computer attributes were modified/touched within SCCM. Hence, this is the field we are using to pull incremental computer data (only the changed or newly added) from SCCM as opposed to a full pull every time you run the computer data source.

Thanks but what is best practice for "SG-SCCM Computer Identity".
Also what are all the option I could 'choose' from. There is no lookup per se.
Is it only Timekey, Timestamp and a/timestamp. I have failed to find a list anywhere on the options and there explanations.
What do you have for "SG-SCCM Computer Identity"?
