Which table to use to store mobile devices, tablets etc? I see below 3 tables provided by ServiceNow. What type of data should fit in each of those tables
1. Handheld Computing Devices [cmdb_ci_handheld_computing]
2. Mobile Devices [sys_mobile_devices]
3. Communication Devices [cmdb_ci_comm]

Since these are being removed (Note: confirmed in new PDI they are gone) - what is the long-term table that should be used for mobile devices such as mobile phones and tablets?

Hi @Eduard Rott and @Barb4 -
Is it possible your newer Washington PDI(s) do not not have the CMDB CI Class Models plugin installed?
I've just replicated this on my PDI - recently upgraded from Vancouver to Washington;
Checked for cmdb_ci_handheld_computing - not found.
Installed the CMDB CI Class Models app plugin.
Once installed, the cmdb_ci_handheld_computing table and cmdb_ci_comm_hardware are present.

Hi @Suggy ,
The best approach or OOB table to store the Mobile and Tablet is Handheld Computing Devices [cmdb_ci_handheld_computing] but if you want to use the Communication Devices [cmdb_ci_comm], there is no issue to use that.

Based on Service Graph Connector for Microsfot Intune or Service Graph connector itslef, I would suggest to use Handheld Computing Device [cmdb_ci_handheld_computing]
