Adding another table to the Life Cycle Controls table for ITOM Certificate Management

We are implementing Certificate Management and wanted more granularity around the state to make our workflows and reporting less complex.

We thought to use the Lifecycle Stage and Status - but naturally cannot update the control table to make it work, so our planned approach is to put in a tactical solution (creating custom Lifecycle Stage and Status fields in with the hope that we'll eventually be able to do this using the OOTB tools).

Are there any plans to create values for the Unique Certificate table and/or a way to add values for another table to the control table?

Has anyone else found a way to resolve this?

There is currently no way to add values for another table to the Life Cycle Controls table in ITOM Certificate Management. As a workaround, creating custom fields for the Lifecycle Stage and Status in the Unique Certificate table is a viable option.

As for future plans, ServiceNow is constantly updating and improving their products, and there may be plans to add this functionality in the future. It would be best to keep an eye on ServiceNow's product roadmap and updates to see if this feature will be added.
