Agile Product alignment with CSDM

When using the Agile Development module, you create "products" which are stored in the software model table. What is the relationship envisioned in the CSDM for these "products"? Should they relate to Services? to Service Offerings? to Business Applications? Rather than linking to those other CI classes, should we instead be using them directly instead of using the model table?

We are struggling with this question too.  We currently use the release module and the release products table to track the applications we perform software development for.  Looking at activating APM but not sure of what the impact is on our products table.

Looking at the newly released CDSM 2.0 it seems like the answer is to use the new table "Service Model" that arrives in the new york release.

Is that right? and if so, will the Agile & release modules be updated to use it automatically as part of the upgrade? or do we have to change the relationships ourselves etc?

Curious about this relationship as well between CSDM/CMDB and Agile Development (Product).  Has there been any discoveries?

I haven't been able to find a formal answer on this yet

Thanks - I found some other interesting fields on the enhancment/defect record that would likely be better fitting reference fields to CSDM.

business_service > cmdb_ci_service

cmdb_ci > cmdb_ci

I was looking for a reference in the CSDM for Product (cmdb_application_product_model) to tie this together, but could not find one.
