Intergation of ITSM tools

Requesting to share some thoughts or some checklist for integrating two ITSM tools.

Hi @amitmanna,

 

there is no universal checklist for integrations as each one will be unique.

Of course, some similarities might be found, for that check the Now Create.

 

As integrations can be:

  • uni- or bidirectional,
  • Servicenow to Servicenow
  • ServiceNow to third party (LDAP, Workday, Google, ......)
  • REST / SOAP x Import set
  • Rights
    • read x write x delete
  • Coalesce
    • update x create
    • deduplication
  • Etc....

With this said, you will need to provide more details, integrations are very complex and even User provisioning will be reflecting each company's requirements and it doesn't mean that what works for Company A can be copied and pasted to Company B. 

 

Check the Now Create to get inspiration and if you want to discuss some approach, let me know
