Creating a Trend report to show state changes over a period of time

Hi SNC

Has anybody out there created a PA Graphical report that shows the trend of Cases in different states over say a week.

What we would like to see is a trend report that shows on Monday we had 12 case in Awaiting Info state, 24 in Open etc on Tuesday we had 30 in Awaiting Info, 10 in Open and so on. 

We have looked and messed around with it - however can't find anything that works, if anyone can point us in the right direction, we would appreciate it,

This could be obtained by a bar graph stacked or grouped (multiple visuals are available) together by state with a PA job running on daily basis. 

Where do you face issues?
