Fail to add customer field to customer_contact form in form builder

When I try to add a custom field to customer_contact form in form builder, it failed and show error message 'Field can not be deleted as user does not have the required rights.'

My instance's version is Xanadu. instance version.png

My account is System Administrator, do I need any other permission.

@Lina66  Select any  record table, from where you want to add new field. After that follow below steps:

1)Open profile on workspace(top right)-> Select form layout under configure workspace.

2)Add the respective fields which wanted on workspace.

 

Option-2:

 

Open any record on Classic UI->open form layout-> Switch to specific workspace view.

Yes, follow your steps I got this

@Lina66  Be in the right scope (CSM Workspace) and try to add a custom field to customer_contact to the right side from the left side fields. Then the field will reflect in the workspace.
