How to minimize by default the Ribbon in Agent Workspace?

Hello everyone!

I'm hoping that this is a simple question....

I'm wanting to know how to (by default) minimize the ribbon on our case form in Agent Workspace.  I've added a pic showing the ribbon highlighted in the RED rectangle that is in question.  If you open the case and then click the little arrow it will minimize the ribbon.  I'm trying to make it ALWAYS minimized every time a case is opened.

It appears that it creates a user preference workspace.showRibbon.  You can change the value to false, remove the user and set System to true.

This should set it as a default for everyone at first and then if they enable it, it will create a separate preference for that individual.

Thanks for the update MB!  How would I go about doing this to test in a DEV environment?

You'd enable / disable it for your account in the Dev environment which will automatically create the user preference for you.  You would then manually modify the user preference and impersonate another user to see if it works.

I had a chance to speak with one of the individuals that helped create Agent Workspace within SN and he said that disabling this at a global level is not possible at this point.  We can only do this on a Individual level for now.  We tried to implement your solution but this did not work for the Preferences.
