In an increasingly complex work environment, where tasks and projects often span multiple platforms and priorities, staying organized and focused can be a challenge. The Collaborative Work Management (CWM) Xanadu release introduces, "My Work" which addresses this problem by centralizing tasks from various sources like CWM, projects, demands, RIDAC, and stories into a single, unified view. This consolidation not only streamlines work management but also enhances productivity by helping users quickly assess their workload, prioritize high-impact tasks, and manage their time more effectively. By filtering tasks based on type or date range, users can easily identify what needs immediate attention, ensuring that critical work is completed on time and with less stress. 

 

Efficiency is further enhanced with the ability to duplicate boards and documents, a feature that saves both time and effort. Instead of starting from scratch, teams can now create copies of existing boards or documents, ensuring consistency and reducing repetitive work. This functionality not only accelerates workflows but also promotes best practices by allowing successful templates to be reused, making it easier for teams to maintain high standards in their work.

 

The introduction of new "People" columns and automations for assignees takes task management to another level, offering enhanced communication and collaboration capabilities. By enabling automated emails or notifications to be sent directly to task assignees, user groups, or multiple users, this feature ensures that everyone stays informed and accountable. The addition of columns like assignment groups, additional assignee lists, and “created by” columns further enrich the data available for each task, allowing for more precise tracking and management. This out-of-the-box functionality not only simplifies task assignment and follow-up but also supports the seamless coordination of efforts across teams and projects.
