Hi Dan,
This is by design as the task can contain other custom columns information. This will lead to discrepancy of custom column information. Nevertheless, you can always customize the sn_cwm_task form and bring the field back.
Can you please let us know if this is very common use case?
If you could share more details about use case, it will help our product roadmap. Thank you.

This is a common use case for our organization as we use the CWM boards for our PI ROAM boards and needed to move any opened task to the next PI ROAM board
I'm hoping that by duplicating the board that all the tasks will be duplicated on the new board so we don't have to recreate all new tasks.

Hi Rachael,
Your use case is very valid one. At the moment we dont have a feature to move tasks from one board to another. We will definitely consider this for future roadmap.
Nevertheless there is one (crazy one may be?) workaround.
- Filter the items planned for next PI ROAM board.
- Save the Board as template (personal).
- Create a new board from that template. This will duplicate the tasks, views. If you create this in the same space it will be better.
- Delete the personal template created in previous step 2.
Let me know if you need further help.
Thanks and regards,
Sunil B N
