I'm looking for some ideas to help a client that wants to establish a percentage of their work to be placed as Resource Plans, while leaving the modern Resource Assignments per project/demand requests, have you had anyone do this successfully?
Their allocation ceiling for admin work varies per person, and they want a way to show the full capacity in RMW. They used to be able to do this seamlessly when everything was Resource Plans.
The biggest reason for this ask is visibility to full capacity remaining flexible to the individual, or group through combining both capabilities.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Ellie,
Have you evaluated **Operational Resource Assignments** in Resource Management Workspace for the admin-work allocation?
ServiceNow supports creating operational assignments separately from project/demand assignments. This looks like the closest OOTB fit for your requirement to retain project/demand assignments while allocating a percentage of each person's capacity to admin work.
I'd test this with different admin-allocation percentages for individual resources and verify how those assignments affect the remaining-capacity and utilization views in RMW.

If the operational assignments don't provide the required percentage-based flexibility or capacity roll-up in your release, that specific gap needs to be validated before considering customization.
