Are you ready to put your ServiceNow skills to the test and win a prize? If you’ve ever built an app on the ServiceNow platform and you're attending a World Forum in Melbourne, New York City, Rotterdam or Toronto, this is your chance to show it off in the most exciting way possible!
I’m launching the “Find Me at the Forum: Kristy Edition” Challenge—a scavenger hunt with a twist. Here’s how it works: I’ll be traveling to 4 different World Forum locations, and I’ll post hints about where I’m hanging out on LinkedIn and Community. Your mission (if you choose to accept it) is to track me down, share a quick story about a ServiceNow app you’ve built, and claim the prize!
But there’s a catch: only the first person to find me wins!
What’s at Stake?
The first person to find me and tell me about their app will win a gift card to the ServiceNow store to pick up some cool swag. They'll also earn a featured spot on the Developer Advocate blog where we will showcase their app! But remember.. one prize per location, one winner per city.
How to Play:
- Follow me on LinkedIn
- Keep an eye out for my posts hinting at my current location leading up to the day of the event
- Once you've figured out my location, head on over and be the first person to say, “I built a ServiceNow app!” (Extra points if you’re super enthusiastic 😉).
- Briefly describe the app you built, and if you’re the first one there—you win!
Stay Tuned!
Be sure to follow me on LinkedIn, because I’ll be dropping hints soon.
The Official "Find Me at the Forum: Kristy Edition" Rules
(Because We Gotta Be Fair):
-
Location Announcement:
- I will post my current location on my social media accounts (ServiceNow Community, LinkedIn, etc.) with enough detail to help you find me.
- Location details will be provided at least 30 minutes before I arrive at the spot.
-
How to Win:
- The first person to find me at the posted location and tell me about a ServiceNow app they have personally created will win the prize. Be ready to give a brief overview of the app’s purpose and functionality!
- Apps can include anything created on the ServiceNow platform, whether it’s for work, a personal project, or a fun side-hustle.
-
Prize:
- The prize will be ServiceNow branded merchandise valued under U.S. $20.00, plus a dedicated article on the Developer Advocate blog showcasing your app.
- There will only be one winner per location.
- If there are multiple participants, only the first person to speak with me and describe their app will be eligible for the prize.
-
Verification:
- To verify that you are the creator of the app, you may be asked a few questions about how you built it, so be ready to share your experience and development process!
-
Disqualification:
- You are not eligible if you try to find me more than once per location or if you are caught cheating (e.g., using false information).
- The app description must be honest, and the app must have been built on the ServiceNow platform.
-
Location and Timing:
- I will only be at the specified location for 45 minutes, so you have to act fast once I post! The event will end when a winner has been found or the time limit expires.
-
Photos and Social Media:
- By participating in the challenge, you agree to be photographed and have your story shared on my social media channels to celebrate your win!
-
Miscellaneous:
- No purchase or payment is required to participate.
- All decisions regarding winners are final.
**Notice: By participating in this event, you certify that you have taken all steps required to receive the Prize in a manner that complies with laws, regulations, and employer or other policies or rules applicable to you, including, as applicable, obtaining the approval of your supervisor and/or a relevant ethics or legal office, disclosing or declaring your attendance and receipt of the Prize; and fulfilling any other requirements associated with your receipt of the Prize.
