adding users to the watchlist on the portal

Evening, 

 

Has anyone managed to add an option onto the "my requests" lists on the portal? so as a user I can review my tickets and add my manager, as an example, to one for them to get updates as well

I don't think there is an easy OOB way to configure this.

In the thread, it looks like it's an easy setup for an HR Case but not for other types of tasks (e.g. RITM). There is also a link to a custom widget, it's worth having a look at that as well.
