App Engine Studio can't create app

Hi,

I am brand new to this and so is my PDI. Haven't found any helpful information on this, even the error message is widely discussed.

Whenever I try to create an app in App Engine Studio I get the following error:

   Unable to create this application. Go back to the create app experience and enter a different scope name.
   Details: Failed to create templated object, details: This scope is already taken by another application

Now, as I say, the PDI is brand new, so there is no app created before. Thus I believe the scope name should not be blocked. Plus, I tried different names (sittin' on the keyboard, you know...). Plus I checked the table of scopes, they are not all in there... Tried Zurich and Yokohama release, Zurich several times. Tried to do a manual installation of App Engine Studion even once.

What can I say, never got anywhere, error message persists. I only want to start with it and do the very first tutorial! Even that doesn't work. Obviously my debugging abilities here are limited, that's why I wanted to use a tutorial first...

This is a known issue in PDI nowadays, and unfortunately, PDI doesn't come with official support. That means you're mostly on your own and have to keep trying. You can follow the link shared by @M Iftikhar   , but if the issue still persists, there's not much anyone can do to help, mate

Hi Atul, thanks for your effort, but as I wrote in the post, I tried various names. No matter what I try the error persists. So I am pretty sure it's not because of a match with any table.
