Hello Everyone,
Here in my project we will upgrade the instance to the Utah version, we are backing up all of our Applications by Publishing the applications into update sets and exporting the XML file, we found something weird in one of the Applications that we published as a update set. The amout of Application Files on the application is different than the amount of Customer Updates on the update set.
For example: We have 12.133 Application Files on the Application
But if we check the update set created when publishing this application, we have 12.444 customer updates
And if we remove the filter "Class != Deleted Application File" we get 13.602 Application Files
We are wondering why do we have this difference on the numbers, should the update set get the same amount ?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi, unfortunately partial screenshots provide no clear details that community members could use to help evaluate your issue. Is the application captured in only 1 update-set, or were updates captured in multiple update-sets and merged into 1 (potentially creating duplicate records)?
You have identified a variation in records based on deletion and this would seem to be valid - there would be no reason for a deleted record to exist in the application file.
Exporting the update names from App and Update-set into excel would allow you to assess\validate the differences and if you are concerned then you should log a case with SNC support asking them to clarify why this has occurred for you.

Hi,
I doubt the difference counts are a problem. For example, one of my apps has 90 Application Files. and the update set has 87. I was able to install that application in another instance without problems.
