can Story Number be read-only and hyperlinked (clickable) in the Agile Board?

Ann Lafferty

On the Agile Board Module, we would like to see the Story Number be read-only AND also be able to click on it to get into the story itself.

Can this be done and if so, any suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you

Ann

p.s. we are on Tokyo

Hi @Ann Lafferty ,

got it, Please follow below instructions:

Possible cause: Number field has been added additionally.

Resolution:

1)click on the gear icon

2)reset to column defaults and save

3)again click on the gear icon and add fields you wanna see (don't add number again)

Hi @Ann Lafferty ,

Basically the "Number" is inherited from the task table and we are making sure on the story table the number field should be read only despite status on the task so its overridden and made ready.

and also one in the Original task number and the other one is the number :

I'm kicking the tires on this now. It looks like that comes into play if you have Unified Backlog. You can pull in an Incident and have a Story associated with it. The original number would be for the Incident, and the Number would be for the associated Story. I'm having a similar struggle that I'm trying to figure out how to make the associated Story number be the primary clickable link as opposed to the original number being the Incident.
