Hi Community,
Can we give incident category, subcategory and respective assignment groups details while adding CI's in CMDB? if so which table do we need to add?

This is very rare case, for this you need to mature your CMDB.
- Assignment group is already there - But depend on the CI class.

Can we auto populate respective assignment groups while adding CI's in CMDB, whenever we give details like category, subcategory and configuration item in incident table will auto populate assignment group.

Yes @Srinivasu2 mate. This is the best way. You need to write code to populate these value. Like for Assignment group in incident, there is BR called Populate Group based on CI /SO if you check this you will see the power of CI maturity.
