Compare the number of closed vs created incidents per month

Is it possible to see in a single report whether we have been closing more tickets than opening on a monthly basis over the last 12 months? We would like to compare the number of tickets that are opened in a single month vs the number of tickets that are closed in that same month for the last 12 months. We would like to have this report to see whether we would need to hire more people to deal with the tickets.

I forgot to mention that I want to compare for every month over the last 12 months, without having to create 12 reports.

Hi Peter,
You can create a pie chart and group by the "Active" field. For the filter condition, select whether the incident is created on this month or closed on this month. This pie chart gives you all tickets that are either closed or opened this month. Note that the Active=false tickets may include tickets that are created this month but are also closed this month.

Btw: Your report would not be correct, because the incidents that are both created and closed this month would only be added to the 'not active' part and they should be contained in both parts.
