Customer Portal finding widget names and modifying simple text on

I need to change Browse Services text to Request Services

How do i find the widget name and how do i edit the browse services text?

Hey @Bret Smith,

 

You should be able to edit the text of the menu via:

  1. Navigate to Service Portal > Portals
  2. Open your portal record
  3. Open the 'Main menu' reference record
  4. Under the related list, there are 'Menu Items' records which you can modify

On a side note, you may want to remove the URL from the screenshot above.

Better to be safe than sorry 🙂

1- Search "portals" in servicenow Application Navigator.

2- Open your portals on which your want to change(in your case "servicehub")

3- Open the homepage record. screenshot attached below

4- On the homepage scroll down and find page header widget

- Change the widget according to your requirements.

Hi  @Bret Smith ,

 

  1. Navigate to Service Portal > Menus on the Application Navigator.
  2. Open the header menu record that you would like to work with.
  3. Scroll down to the Menu Items Related List.
  4. Select "Browse Services" and Update Name to "Request Services".
