Hello @a41022639

Subject Person:

  • Definition: The subject person is the individual who is the main focus of the HR case. This is the person about whom the HR case is concerned.
  • Example Use Case: If an HR case is opened regarding an employee’s request for a leave of absence, the subject person would be the employee who is requesting the leave.

Opened For:

  • Definition: The "opened for" person is the individual on whose behalf the HR case is created. This could be the same as the subject person or someone else acting on behalf of the subject person.
  • Example Use Case: If an HR case is initiated by a manager for one of their team members, the "opened for" person would be the employee for whom the manager is creating the case. In this scenario, the manager is the one opening the case, but the "opened for" person is the team member.

Hi, do you know if either the subject or opened for person will be notified of updates to the case? In my example, I have a requestor who temporarily can't access the request form to submit this case as usual so is emailing me to open the case on their behalf (they're a content owner/approver). So I'm the one working the case but would I put the other person as the subject or opened for and will the get any emails if they are listed as one or the other?
