Emails going to inbox instead of received

Hi

Im trying to transform an excel file contained in the email sent to my instance. The problem is its going to the inbox instead of received. i have tried putting

gs.eventLog in the inbound action but that is not even logged. what could be the problem

All inbound mail is placed into the Inbox until it is processed. After it is cleared, the email moves to the Received state. wiki: System Mailboxes - ServiceNow Wiki

Can you provide some more details? You're sending in an email with excel file - then what is expected to happen, can you share your inbound action or script or ?
