Hi everyone,
I am experiencing an issue that has been over my head for the past few days where my mega menu does not appear/work.
The OOB works as I was able to change the text on it. However, I have created a New Taxonomy called IT and that contain one Child Topic called Technology requests which has one Connected Content of a quick link to Reset Password.
I have made sure that the taxonomy is linked to the Portal under Portal Configuration and Log out and Sign in again but no joy. If this information is relevant, I am using a Washington instance to reflect my instance at work.
I have gone through other similar questions and none has seem to be solve the issue that I am experiencing, could someone guide me here?
Many thanks in advance,
Gio

Hi @Gioo ,
Please find the below configs that you need to do, to ensure the menus are working correctly-
Step 1. Creating the Taxonomy(Which you have already created)-
Step 2. Need to add Child Topics at Taxonomy level(To be visible on the portal), Also add data in the contributors related list
Contributors Section
Child Topic
Step 3. Add child topics at Topic level(Like Hardware, Software etc.)
Step 4. Also add child topic for the hardware as well similar to the above(computers, Printers etc.)
Step 5. Save all the records.
Step 6. Try to reload the portal. (Give it some time, like few seconds and then load)
Step 7. Also sometimes you need to clear the cache to reflect the changes.
After all the above steps, your cloned portal should look like the below
If my response has resolved your query, please consider giving it a thumbs up and marking it as the correct answer!
Thanks & Regards,
Sanjay Kumar

Hi @Gioo,
Looking at your screenshot, it looks like you have a different Theme set in the portal.
Are you using the EC Theme for your cloned portal?
Cheers

Hi @James Chun,
Yes, I was using the EC Theme with a couple of different configs applied but after using a new instance, I was able to achieve the results.
