I’m working on an approval workflow for a catalog item—let’s say Password Reset as an example. The request initially goes to the user's manager for approval. If the manager doesn’t respond after two reminders, I want to escalate the approval to the manager’s manager without cancelling or overriding the original approval.
The goal is to keep both approvals open, so that either the manager or their manager can approve the request, and once one of them approves, the workflow should proceed.
Has anyone implemented something similar? I’d love to hear your thoughts on the best way to structure this in Flow Designer or any other recommended approach.
