How do I clone the default Service Portal design?

Hi, I am new to Service Portal and would need to deliver a simple landing page for a custom application by end of this week. I do not have experience with Angular or Bootstrap but I know HTML and CSS.

I am hoping that I could clone the default page of the Service Portal (the out of the box one) and modify it per my requirements. I know in CMS this can be done. But in Service Portal, is this possible?

Hi Regina,

Install this UI action (attached) and you should see a Copy Page link when you go to edit the page. I have not personally tested this (yet.)

You are welcome. I should really publish that to share.

It looks like my co-worker and friend enojardi did this some time ago. No need for duplicates.

Share: Copy Service Portal page

Thanks ctomasi !!!

And to answer the other question from reginabautista: I've passed my update set to development a while ago and they've included it OOB for J release

Cheers,

Jonny.

Wonderful news enojardi ! Thank you!

Hi Chuck,

I tried to upload the file on to my PDI, Jakarta version but no matter what I try, it won't appear in the 'Retrieved Update Sets' list view after I have clicked on the Upload button in the 'Import Update set from XML' form interface.   Any ideas? Am I missing something here?   Thanks for any help!

Dexter

Hi Dexter,

Sorry for the confusion. This isn't an update set. It's the UI action itself. If you have done the "Import Update set from XML", then you have already loaded it. Check your UI actions list and you'll see the Copy Page UI action listed there.
