I know aric.wilber knows how to do this, I was doing work in an instance and my PM just now said that he wants me to put it in an update set...How do I do that now that I've already spent all day adding items into Service Catalog? Also, that is all I've been doing--entering items and bundles into SC. Do I have to do an update set or can we just do something simpler to get all the data when we merge to PROD?

Create a update set and make that one as your current update set.
You can capture the customer updates by filtering the changes that you have done, there will be column called 'update set' which is a reference, if I am not wrong it will be populated with 'Default' change it to your newly created update set

Hi Sam,
Just follow the steps below and you should be golden.
1. If you haven't already create a new update set.
2. Then Open the default update set
3. Right click on the default update set related list (customer updates) filter and select "open in a new window". ***This step is very important, because if you attempt to update from the related list view you will update all records associated with the default update set and make cleanup even harder on yourself.
4. In the new list window you've just opened... devise a filter for all applicable update sets... likely, all updates updated by you within a certain timeframe.... make certain to double check and triple check that only the correct updates are selected.
5. When you are certain only the updates you wish to transfer are viewable in the list right click in a column header and select "update All"
6. a form will open... set Update set to your newly created or correct update set.
***It is important that you do NOT modify created date or remote update set... or any other field unless you are 100% certain you know what you are doing at this time. e.g. Only update "Update Set".
7. Click "Update"
8. Go into the correct update set and validate all desired changes are contained within it.
9. In the future be certain to put all updates into an update set... accidents happen, I still occasionally put things in default by accident so this is good to know, but best avoided.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks and good luck!
Aric
