CMDB has become very broad over time, and to help customers build a strong foundation, ServiceNow provides a learning path called Data Foundations.

This learning path covers CMDB concepts end to end and also includes CSDM topics for a deeper understanding. The courses contain comprehensive content and practical guidance that can help you get started and build a solid understanding of the platform's data model and governance practices.

I would recommend starting with the Data Foundations learning path before moving on to more advanced CMDB and CSDM topics.

To become CMDB administrator,  First complete  following courses

 Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Fundamentals On Demand

       -Configure the CMDB

       -CMDB Health

Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Fundamentals ( make your own cheat sheet to memorize each domain with its CI type, purpose & ownership )

Five domains:

1. Ideation & Strategy
2. Design & Planning
3. Build & Integrate
4. Service Delivery
5. Service Consumption

Introduction to CMDB Workspace

 Introduction to CMDB Workspace to learn how to navigate and understand the various tabs, tiles, charts, metrics, and scorecards available from the CMDB Workspace.

In parallel, practice the learning if you are already are part of ServiceNow project and your project is having CMDB and CSDM in place.
