How to change "date" type dictionary field to "string" type field

Hello Community,

Is there a way to convert a dictionary field which got accidentally changed  to a date field from a string field?

Every time I delete and create again it gets auto restored to date type field. Is there a way to prevent this for now?

Regards,

Shariq

The opposite actually. Even after deleting the dictionary it gets created as a date type only.
