Hello everyone,

I would like to edit opened field on Problem management. This is OOB field.

I disabled ACL 'problem.opened_at' but the field is still not editable. Is there any way I can edit this field? I would appreciate any comment. Thank you!

@Mari2  You also have to disable dictionary override on "Opened" field. You will see "dictionary override" for this field on problem table.

It has been read only by ACL + Dictionary Override. so make changes based on your need.

Thanks,

Harsh

Hi Mari,

What is your requirement ? This is OOB field and its managed by OOB scripts and we as developers should not edit the value.

Why do you need to change the value of this?

Hi Anurag,

Thank you for your comment. This is a request from our RPA team. They're tracking back the past problem tickets, and trying to modify this field to ensure chronological consistency of the data. They're requesting a temporary access to this field for this purpose.

Hi @Mari2 ,

As many others have mentioned to you - don't. This OOTB field should not be edited, no matter what request comes from other teams.

Hi @Mari2

May I know why you want to make this editable. This will impact on process.

It is by design and OOTB.
