How to modify the Change Success Score on timelines further than 30 days

We are looking to update the Change Success Score plugin so that it calculates the values based on more than the past 30 days. Has anyone had any experience in this?

Hi @Jason ,

You can view the Change success score formula indicators in Performance Analytics under the indicator group Change success score - multipliers.

Review the following table to understand the default multipliers used in success score calculation.

Default multipliers
Automated indicator	Multiplier applied by formula indicator
Successful changes	3
Successful changes with issues	-2
Unsuccessful changes	-5
P1 incident caused by change	-10
P2 incident caused by change	-5
P3 incident caused by change	-2

How to change the Calculation?

Navigate to All > Performance Analytics > Indicator Groups > Change success score - multipliers.
Open the indicator that you want to modify.
In the formula, change the multiplier value.
Click Update.

Hi Sandeep,

Thank you for your response however I am still having some doubts. What effect would modifying this value have on the score? It is my understanding that the score is collected on the data for previous 30 days and we are looking to increase this. Would modifying this value have this effect?

Hi Jason,

You can navigate to Scheduled Jobs -> Change success score metrics (Historical data)

This will fetch scores for specified no. of days(30 - for past 30 days)
