Input reference error in process automation designer

hello experts !! 

need help in Agent workspace for CSM in the playbook of complaint cases I want to remove 

triage stage. so I want to directly go from intake to research stage 

I went to process automation designer and picked the current implemented process 

and after I deactivate or delete the triage stage the research lane is showing "input reference error" 

and activites are not showing much.

There may be a few possible issues that could cause the "input reference error" message when trying to remove the triage stage from the complaint cases playbook. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Make sure that the research stage has all the necessary inputs defined in the Input References tab of the stage's properties.
  2. Check if there are any rules or activities in the triage stage that are passing data to the research stage. If so, you will need to modify these to pass the data directly to the research stage instead of via the triage stage.
  3. If you are using any custom scripts or integrations in the triage stage, make sure that they are updated to work correctly with the research stage as the first stage in the playbook.
  4. If you are using the playbook in any other processes or workflows, make sure to update those to reflect the change in the playbook structure.
