I would like to know why ServiceNow has a default setting that restricts editing multiple comma-separated fields from the list editor. Below, I included the provided solution, but it doesn't explain why they were block or the risks of enabling it.

Hi @Micael
I believe that the reason why ServiceNow has a default setting that restricts editing multiple comma-separated fields from the list editor is to prevent accidental data loss or corruption. When you edit multiple comma-separated fields from the list editor, there is a risk that you may inadvertently overwrite data in other fields that you did not intend to modify. This can result in data loss or corruption, which can be difficult to recover from.
To mitigate this risk, ServiceNow restricts editing multiple comma-separated fields from the list editor by default. However, this restriction can be disabled if necessary, as described in the articles you provided.
