ON-CALL SCHEDULE HELP WITH MULTIPLE SHIFTS

I am trying create an on-call schedule that spans 24x7. The Primary and Secondary could either be a 24x7 hour roster member or a roster member that works certain hours such as 1pm to 10pm or 10pm to 1pm.

 

I initially started out by creating two sets of shifts:

  1. One 24x7 shift
  2. 1pm to 10pm and 10pm to 1pm shifts running in parallel.

However, I realized that the on-call roster members would have to constantly maintain these schedules on a regular basis. I took another approach in which I created the just the 1pm to 10pm and 10pm to 1pm shifts. But i run into the same problem in which my users will have to constantly maintain the schedule.

 

Is there any way that I can automate this type of schedule without alot of "hand holding" by roster members?
